ACCOMMODATION AT LOTRI BAY

We are continually growing but currently offer the following options for guests:

  • Treetops – large private chalet with four double rooms
  • Campsite Chalets – two private chalets located above the campsite with two single beds each
  • Mopane Chalet – a private chalet in its own corner of the property with a double bed

TREETOPS

  • Lotri Bay - Treetops

Raised up above the ground to help keep cool, Treetops is a truly stunning and secluded chalet with four twin rooms, all with their own en-suite bathrooms. Two bedrooms are connected by raised walkways to the central lounge/kitchen/dining area, with two further bedrooms at ground level. Relax and enjoy the bush as animals graze on the lawn below and wander down to drink just in front of your private garden, or take a five minute stroll down to the boathouse and hire out a sailing boat and explore more of Lotri Bay.

Facilities include:

  • Four twin/double rooms complete with en-suite bathrooms, mosquito nets and pedestal fans
  • Kitchen/dining room with a gas cooker and fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, cutlery and crockery
  • Upper and lower decks with views overlooking Lotri Bay
  • Braai area and campfire
  • Private swimming pool
  • 240V power supply with a back-up generator

CAMPSITE CHALETS

Set behind the Campsite are two private chalets hidden amongst the rocks and trees. Each comes with two single beds and an en-suite bathroom (an extra bed can be added by request). Both chalets share a kitchen and campfire, but are otherwise away from other guests whilst still only a short walk away from the Campsite and water’s edge. The chalets also share a private plunge pool.

Facilities include:

  • Two single beds (per chalet) complete with en-suite bathrooms
  • Shared kitchen with a gas cooker and fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, cutlery and crockery
  • Shared braai area and campfire
  • Shared but private plunge pool, access to the campsite swimming pool (and lake pool!)
  • Solar powered USB phone charging

Tucked away in its own corner of the property, Mopane Chalet comes with a double bed complete with en-suite bathroom (an extra bed can be added by request), kitchen/dining area, private plunge pool and braai/campfire area. Mopane also overlooks our smaller dam, whilst being a short walk away from the main dam on the property.

  • Kitchen with a gas cooker and fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, cutlery and crockery
  • Braai area and campfire
  • Private plunge pool
  • Solar powered USB phone charging

CAMPSITE

The Campsite offers separate ‘pitches’ in a shady, lawned area just a stone’s throw away from the water’s edge and ideally located to give you some wonderful views of Lotri Bay. Most pitches come complete with a cold water shower and small braai area with sink.

In addition, the campsite offers:

  • Shared ablution block with solar heated showers and toilet facilities
  • Swimming pool and enclosed lake swimming pool (free from crocodiles!)
  • Covered seating area with picnic tables
  • Communal campfire/braai area for those wishing to stay up into the night
  • Outdoor table tennis
  • Tent hire ($35 per night, including a mattress)
